A Fresh, Two-Tone Kitchen in Carmichael
To give this kitchen a brighter, more open feel, we replaced the original oak cabinet doors with a beautiful Beveled Shaker (DSS218) door style and removed the wall cabinets above the sink.
The homeowners selected a timeless two-tone color palette:
- Upper & Tall Cabinets: 933 Mission White
- Base Cabinets: Green Supermatte
The combination creates a clean, inviting kitchen with just the right amount of contrast and character.
Smart Upgrades That Make Everyday Life Easier
This project wasn’t just about updating the look—it was about making the kitchen more enjoyable to use every day.
We included:
- 20 hardwood beech dovetail drawers with soft-close guides
- 1 hardwood beech dovetail roll-out shelf
- 16 finished end panels for a seamless, custom appearance
- A new soft-close pull-out trash cabinet, replacing the old trash compactor
- Medium crown molding for a clean, finished look
- Removal of dated corbels to create a more streamlined design
To complete the transformation, we fabricated and installed beautiful MSI Cashmere Taj quartz countertops along with a custom tile backsplash that ties the entire kitchen together.
We also added under-cabinet lighting—one of our homeowners’ favorite upgrades. Not only does it provide better task lighting, but multiple lighting scenes create a warm, inviting atmosphere any time of day.
