Whatever your Wilton home needs, we handle it in-house. Kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling, countertop fabrication and installation, cabinet refacing and custom cabinets. Here is what each service looks like for Wilton, CA homes.
Wilton kitchens sit in houses built one at a time, on parcels that run from an acre to well past ten. Homes from the 1970s and 80s often keep the kitchen as its own room, and opening it up changes how the whole house feels. We handle everything from design to demo to final install.
Bathrooms are our busiest Wilton service. Most are original to the house, which makes them a natural place to start. Tub-to-shower conversions lead the list, followed by vanity replacement, bathroom cabinets and aging-in-place work.
In many Wilton homes, the cabinet boxes often outlast the doors. Wilton cabinet refacing replaces doors, drawer fronts and veneer while the boxes stay put. Cabinets look new, at a fraction of what full replacement costs.
Wilton properties come with barns, shops and tack rooms the house never accounted for. Stock cabinetry comes in standard sizes. Homes and outbuildings may not. We build to your room, whether that room is a kitchen or a workshop.
Wilton countertop replacement is the quickest way to update a kitchen without a full remodel. We fabricate kitchen countertops in our own Sacramento shop, so you approve seam placement before anything gets cut. Choose from quartz, granite, natural stone and Silestone.

Kitchen Mart has completed 7 projects across Wilton since 2020: 2 kitchens, 3 bathrooms, 1 countertop installation and 1 cabinet project. Those numbers cover Town Center, the Dillard area and the acreage properties in between.
Finished work in Wilton homes, from full kitchen remodels to single-room updates.
We began by removing the original cabinetry, countertops, and flooring to create a clean slate. At the center of the new design is custom cabinetry, built in our Sacramento cabinet shop. The homeowners chose heritage walnut in a Rye finish, paired with a Tuscany door style and five-piece drawer fronts. This is a timeless choice that brings warmth and elegance to the space.
That’s exactly what happened in this Roseville, CA kitchen remodel. The homeowners wanted to brighten the space by replacing their dark granite countertops and outdated tile backsplash with something cleaner, lighter, and easier to maintain.
The existing bathtub was removed to make room for a larger, more comfortable walk-in shower. We installed a Corian shower pan and threshold in Glacier White, paired with Cambria Torquay quartz shower walls. This solid-surface design is antimicrobial and easy to clean, giving the homeowners both luxury and peace of mind.
"There were absolutely no surprises. It worked out exactly as I planned...down to every little detail...It makes me happy."

A remodel on a ten-acre property outside town is a different job than one in a Town Center home from the eighties. Different layouts, different access, different cabinet conditions, different budgets. These neighborhood profiles cover what we find in Wilton homes by area and era, from Town Center to the rural acreage and more!
Wilton’s founding core, dating to a 1908 railroad station built on rancher Seth Wilton’s property. Early 20th-century farmhouses mix with newer single-family homes across this rural agricultural community.
A family-friendly Wilton neighborhood of single-family homes built mainly between 1970 and 1999. Top-rated schools and owner-occupied housing give this area one of the region’s strongest family-friendly reputations.
Wilton’s defining character: single-family homes and custom estates on large acreage parcels, some over 10 acres, built across multiple decades. Equestrian and agricultural use are common throughout this rural community.

Wilton has the largest parcels of anywhere we work. Ten acres is common, and some run well past that. Those properties come with buildings the house never planned for.
A barn with tack hanging on nails. A shop storing thirty years of tools on plywood shelves. A garage doing three jobs at once.
Custom cabinets handle all of it. Workshop cabinetry keeps tools findable. Tack and feed storage built to the space rather than improvised. Mudroom lockers catch boots before they reach the kitchen.
Inside, the kitchens have familiar problems. Deep corner base cabinets swallow small appliances. Uppers stop at a soffit instead of the ceiling, losing a full shelf across the room.
Built to your dimensions, those spaces become the most useful storage on the property.
Bathroom cabinets work the same way. A linen tower sized to your wall beats a freestanding cabinet crowding the doorway.
Wilton homes from the 1970s and 80s follow the closed-plan logic of the era. A wall separates the kitchen from the living space, and the room feels smaller than the square footage suggests.
Removing that wall changes the house more than any other project. Whether it carries load determines cost, and our project manager checks framing during design rather than after demo starts.
Almost every home out here was built individually, on its own parcel, by whoever the owner hired at the time. Framing methods vary property to property. A neighbor’s remodel tells you nothing about your own walls, so we look at yours specifically before quoting.
Opening it up usually leads to a peninsula or island, which moves the sink, dishwasher and cooktop. All of that runs through our own team.
Wilton homes built before 1990 almost always pair a tub and shower in a single alcove. If nobody in the house takes baths, that tub is storing shampoo and forcing a step-over every morning.
Converting to a walk-in shower opens the room and gives you space for a bench, a proper niche and a real drying area.
The work covers demo of the tub and surround, new waterproofing, a repositioned drain and tile or solid-surface walls. Most conversions finish inside two weeks.
Cast-iron tubs are common in the older homes and come out heavy. On long driveways with limited turnaround, our crews plan the removal route before demo day rather than improvising on the morning.
Wilton cabinet refacing keeps your boxes and replaces doors, drawer fronts and the visible veneer. Full replacement removes everything.
Box condition decides it, not age. Homes from the 1970s and 80s frequently have solid plywood or hardwood boxes worth keeping, particularly where the original owner had them built rather than bought. Particleboard boxes with water damage under the sink rarely survive.
Layout decides the rest. If your current cabinet positions work, reface. If you want a taller upper run, a different island or a pantry where a wall stands now, replacement makes more sense.
Refacing typically finishes in under a week with your kitchen mostly usable. Replacement runs longer.
Cabinet painting is a third option. Lower cost, works when the door style still suits you, less durable than a factory finish.
Countertops give you the largest visual change for the smallest disruption in a Wilton kitchen.
The trigger is usually one of two things. Laminate seams start lifting, or tile grout stains past the point where cleaning helps. Many homes here are still running the surfaces they were built with.
We fabricate kitchen countertops in our own shop. You approve seam placement rather than finding out where it landed on install day.
Quartz handles daily use with no sealing. Granite and natural stone give you patterns no other home repeats, and need periodic sealing. Silestone sits in the quartz category with a wider color range.
Plan for the sink, faucet and backsplash at the same time. Pulling a slab forces all three decisions whether you budgeted for them or not.
Wilton is owner-occupied almost throughout, and people who buy land here tend to keep it. Thirty years in one house changes what a bathroom needs to do.
This work does not have to look clinical. A curbless shower reads as a design choice. Blocking behind the tile lets grab bars go in now or later without opening walls twice. A comfort-height vanity and a taller toilet reduce daily strain.
Lever handles replace knobs. Lighting gets brighter at the mirror and inside the shower. Non-slip tile handles wet floors without the institutional look.
ADA-compliant work follows specific clearance and reach dimensions. Our designers know which apply to a private residence versus a code requirement, and build to whichever standard you want.
Kitchen Mart is proud to provide kitchen and bathroom remodeling services throughout the greater Sacramento, CA region.
Yes, that’s one of the first things to check. Homes in Wilton often have well water, septic systems, or unique land layouts. Kitchen Mart understands how to work around these factors without costly delays or code issues.
It can be, but working with a remodeling company like Kitchen Mart that’s based in Sacramento makes it easier. We’ve found that companies with local fabrication and in-house crews stay on schedule better than those relying on outside vendors who aren’t familiar with the area.
Anything involving plumbing, electrical, or structural changes typically requires permits through Sacramento County. That’s why it’s important to hire a licensed contractor who handles all permitting and inspections—especially for older homes in Wilton with outdated systems.
Yes, and it’s something many Wilton homeowners do. Starting with a kitchen or bathroom remodel and moving to other areas later helps spread out the budget. A good remodeler will create a long-term plan that works in stages.
Absolutely. Updated kitchens and bathrooms are high on buyers’ lists—even in rural areas. A well-executed remodel can increase market value and make the home more attractive, whether you’re planning to sell soon or just want to invest wisely.
At Kitchen Mart, we’re here to serve your needs. If you’re in the greater Sacramento region and you’d like an estimate, product information or simply want to drop us a note to let us know how we’re doing, we’d love to hear your comments.
