This kitchen and laundry room makeover took the home from dated oak to modern and bright with clean Mission White Shaker doors on the perimeter. For a touch of warmth, the island and some upper cabinetry were refaced in a Red Oak Artesia door style, finished in Driftwood. The two-tone combination is both elegant and inviting.

The sink cabinet was reworked to fit a charming new apron-front sink.

The hood area above the cooktop now features a custom “Hoodsy” hood—built and painted to match the cabinetry.

We added 14 hardwood beech dovetail drawers (yes, they’re all soft-close).

We templated, fabricated, and installed Cambria Everleigh quartz countertops and backsplash.

And to bring it all together: brand-new porcelain tile flooring in both the kitchen and laundry areas.
