Timeless Wood, Built Just for You
We began by removing the original cabinetry, countertops, and flooring to create a clean slate. At the center of the new design is custom cabinetry, built in our Sacramento cabinet shop. The homeowners chose heritage walnut in a Rye finish, paired with a Tuscany door style and five-piece drawer fronts. This is a timeless choice that brings warmth and elegance to the space.
The design includes 28 hardwood beech dovetail drawers—all soft-close—as well as applied refrigerator and dishwasher panels, two custom islands, and a large-stacked ceiling crown. Each island features classic walnut posts that provide strength, visual weight, and character. These same posts beautifully frame the range top and built-in microwave drawer. A new custom hood completes the look.
Organization Made Simple
Custom cabinetry means smarter storage and easier living. This kitchen remodel features two appliance garages with hydraulic lifts, a single roll-out waste station, and 14-inch-deep wall cabinets. From pull-outs and dividers to deep drawers, every detail was designed to make daily life more organized and functional.
Striking Stone Surfaces
To complement the cabinetry, we fabricated and installed natural stone countertops with an Ogee over full bullnose edge. A custom herringbone tile backsplash, highlighted by mural graine matte 6×6 tiles above the range, ties the space together. The rich stone veining paired with warm walnut cabinetry creates a kitchen that feels both classic and sophisticated.
Light, Warmth, and Ambience
For both task and ambient lighting, we added recessed can lights and four 32-inch undercabinet lights—all on dimmers—so the space feels as functional as it is beautiful.

Every step of this remodel was handled by Kitchen Mart’s in-house team—no subcontractors. From design and demolition to plumbing, electrical, custom cabinet building, countertop fabrication, custom tile installation to finish painting. It’s all done under one roof.
