Starting fresh can be liberating. Especially when it comes to reimagining your kitchen. Function. Storage. Design. Everything.
With this Auburn, Ca. kitchen remodel, we began by removing the old cabinets, countertops, and window trim. Once the space was clear, our in-house craftsmen updated the electrical and reframed the arch above the fridge into a clean square shape.
Custom Cherry Cabinetry
The heart of this remodel? Custom cherry cabinets, built right here in our Sacramento shop. The homeowners chose a Heritage door in a warm Rye finish. It’s rich, timeless, and sets the tone for the entire space.
We designed in details that make daily life easier:
- 11 glass doors
- A tilt-out
- A cloud unit for accessibility
- Double waste rollout
- Tray dividers for organization
And of course—20 dovetail drawers in solid beech hardwood. Soft-close, full-extension. Standard at Kitchen Mart. Every panel, shelf, and island detail was custom-crafted for a seamless fit. A stacked wood crown completed the look with style.
Lighting that Transforms
Lighting changes everything. We added 10 LED task and puck lights in the glass cabinets and arch. Then layered in AFX LED strips around the oven, fridge, sink, and corner cabinet. The result? Flexible light for cooking, entertaining, or relaxing—while highlighting the cabinetry’s natural beauty.
Warm Quartz Surfaces
For countertops, we fabricated and installed Cambria Colton quartz with a full-height backsplash at the window and sink. Its warm cinnamon tones pair beautifully with the Rye cherry cabinetry.
